Tetrahydrofurane - THF

Characteristic:
Tetrahydrofurane is a colorless, ether-like smelling, volatile, combustile liquid. It is mixable with water, alcohols, ketons, esters, ethers and hydrocarbons.

Applications:

• solvent for polystryrene, PVC, polyurethane, cellulose nitrate, adhesives, printing inks, Paints, etc.
• intermediate for polyesters, polyamides, polyurethanes and elastomer production.
• extraction of pyrrolidine and tetrahydrothiopene.
